Episode 1: Arabia Felix

Michael Episode 1

Once known to the Romans as Arabia Felix – Blessed Arabia – The lands of present-day Yemen were famed for their wealth, incense, and prosperity. In our very first episode, we journey back to kingdoms such as Saba, Himyar and Qataban, which dominated the incense routes that fed markets across the ancient world. This episode explores the rise and legacy of South Arabia’s forgotten civilizations in a land once celebrated as a paradise, but now struggling with violence and poverty.
